What is the PFA?

An association of the current Thai professional footballers’. It is currently Thailand’s first-ever professional players’ association. 

When was the PFA founded?

The Association was founded in 2017, taking a more public role in coinciding with the centennial year celebration of the Football Association of Thailand.  

Is there a collective bargaining agreement (CBA)?

In its first year of inception, no collective bargaining agreement is in place but the PFA in its capacity as the “players’ representative” engages in dialogue with other football stakeholders in Thailand, including but not limited to the Football Association of Thailand. 

Are all Thai National Team players members?

All current National Team players and any professional footballer (of Thai national) welcome to become a member. Foreigners playing professional football in Thailand may also become a member and seek guidance from the PFA, but are not entitled to a voting right in the PFA Congress.
